CORPORATE BANKING

RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER), CORPORATE BANKING

Major responsibilities include :
 
Market new financing/new corporate clients which involves negotiation with customers on terms, initiating and structuring credit facilities.

Prepare and present full credit appraisal for Credit Committee, Executive Committee, and/or Board for recommendation and approval.
 
Manage and monitor corporate banking clientele and ensure timely submission of annual reviews, disbursement of facilities granted, and good conduct of account.
 left
Ensure satisfactory level of proactive customer service.
 
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent academic qualification. CCP or CIFP holder will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 – 10 years of working experience in sales and/or credit evaluation of corporate and or commercial business.
Strong report writing, credit analytical and communication skills.
Good product knowledge. Knowledge in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.
 

TRADE FINANCE

MANAGER, TRADE FINANCE BUSINESS

Major responsibilities include :

Design and develop new/structured Trade Finance product solutions to suit market/customer requirements.
Enhance existing product features and process to extend their life cycle and increase profitability.

Support Relationship Manager to market trade solutions to clients.
Implement new Trade Finance products, campaigns, policies and procedures.

Develop strategic initiatives, enhance the infrastructure on the Trade Finance business and trade finance delivery systems as to maintain market competitiveness
 
Requirements:

Degree preferably in Finance and Business Administration.
At least 5 years working experience in Trade Finance with strong Trade Finance product knowledge.
Experience on project implementation/re-engineering will be an added advantage.
Excellent command of verbal and written English.
Strong interpersonal skills, proactive and able to work independently.
 
 

BUSINESS & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

HEAD, BUSINESS & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Major responsibilities include :

Develop & implement new/enhanced financing products and services (generic & customized solutions) to meet customers’ needs.

Monitor market intelligence and trend of banking industry in benchmarking our products against competitors and also to identify business opportunities.
Manage profitability and relevance of each financing product by maintaining right product, pricing and target market.

Ensure that all products are in compliance with Shariah and all policies & procedures are followed, maintained and updated accordingly as the business evolves.
 
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field preferably Marketing.
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field preferably in product development and marketing.
 
MANAGER, BUSINESS & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Major responsibilities include :

Develop new product structures by collaborating with in-house and external product providers.
Assist in the development of creative marketing collaterals / materials for new products, campaigns and direct marketing packs.

Prepare approval paper, submission to relevant authority on new product.

Track and monitor product portfolio performance for continuous improvement in sales propositions so as to meet the product/domain financial target.
 
Requirements:

Good knowledge in product management and planning skills.
At least 5 years experience in banking, research and product development.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Knowledge in Islamic banking products both domestic and international will be an added advantage.
 

LEGAL

SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER - LEGAL

Major responsibilities include :

Review and update AFB's agreements and documents and ensure AFB's compliance with the law, regulations and directives issued by the regulators as well as AFB's policies and procedures.

Liaise, monitor, support and attend to AFB's panel of solicitors, regulators and outside parties on matters concerning legal issues and proceedings.
left
Recommend and advise the Management the best possible course of action concerning legal issues and/or matters affecting AFB's business and operations.
 
Requirements:

At least a Bachelor Degree in Law with a minimum of 5-8 years post qualification experience either in practice or in a financial institution.
Conversant in Islamic banking & finance products and documentation requirements.
Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job.
